Last week I was lucky enough to spend my day of interning outside the office and on the NYC TV & Movie tour by On Location Tours.

It was a cold Wednesday in the middle of February, and I found myself trekking through the busy streets of Manhattan to get to Chelsea Market – possibly the hippest tourist attraction in all of New York City.

Last month the Greenwich Village – Chelsea Chamber of Commerce hosted a seminar on Greenwich Village hotel development at Grape and Vine Restaurant in The Jade Hotel.

Chocolate has an effect similar to that of shopping. Even though we don’t necessarily need that new outfit, there’s just something about it that makes us feel so good. More than just a piece of candy, chocolate is a sensory experience that reminds us of the simple joys in life.

Beginning in the East Village and ending among the tangled streets of Greenwich Village, 10th Street maintains its charm with a mix of the historic and the new.

Spending time in a bookstore is a wonderfully comforting experience: the smells of old, worn and fresh, new books mingle with the subtle aroma of coffee, the quiet hum of rustling pages, and hushed, contented voices.
